Lithium Ion Battery (LiFePO4) The Blue Power charger uses a specific charging algorithm for lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries, with an automatic lithium-ion undervoltage protection reset function. Fully discharged battery recovery function Most chargers with reverse voltage protection will not recognize a battery that has been discharged to zero volts or near zero volts, and therefore will not recharge it. However, the Blue Power charger will attempt to recharge a fully discharged battery with low current and will resume normal charging after sufficient voltage has been established across the battery terminals.

This charging current gain ensures shorter charging times and the best possible power utilization of the solar system. The MPP solar controllers are fully automatic, maintenance free and offer the following functions: MPP charge current increase compared to conventional controllers by 10% to 30% (efficiency > 95%) due to the use of the latest controller technology (microprocessor). The increase in performance is particularly noticeable during the cooler seasons and, for example, during periods of high snow, low and diffuse lighting (hibernation).
