Versatile use The MultiPlus is a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger utilizing adaptive charging technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact package. Models are available for the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module. Unique PowerAssist function The MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, it automatically reduces battery charging to protect against overload. Next, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) function. In the event of a mains fault or an interruption to the shore power or on-board generator, the multi's inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply to the connected loads. The switchover occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic equipment is guaranteed. Adaptive means that the charging process is automatically adjusted to the type of battery usage. Storage mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use Storage mode is activated whenever there has been no discharge within 24 hours. The charge maintenance voltage is then lowered to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gas generation and thus prevent corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This provides a type of equalization charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the two main causes of premature battery failure. Also charges lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries LiFePO4 batteries are charged using a simple constant current phase > constant voltage phase > charge retention voltage phase algorithm. The NIGHT and LOW settings When the unit is in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the rated output and the charger operates absolutely silently. The NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. The LOW mode can be terminated manually. Protection against overheating The output current is reduced when the temperature rises up to 50°C, but the Blue Power charger does not fail.

MPP solar controller for high quality motorhomes, caravans and boats. Votronic solar controllers of the series "MPP" (Maximum-Power-Point) with "IU1oU2" charging characteristic are connected as a link between solar panel(s) and battery(ies). With MPP technology, the controller continuously and automatically determines the maximum power point (MPP) of the solar panels several times per second. It then transforms the excess voltage of the solar module to a higher charging current for the battery (realized by high frequency switching controller technology with high efficiency). This charging current gain ensures shorter charging times and the best possible power utilization of the solar system. The MPP solar controllers are fully automatic, maintenance free and offer the following functions: MPP charge current increase compared to conventional controllers by 10% to 30% (efficiency > 95%) due to the use of the latest controller technology (microprocessor). The increase in performance is particularly noticeable during the cooler seasons and, for example, during periods of high snow, low and diffuse lighting (hibernation). For charging lead-gel, lead-AGM, lead-acid batteries or LiFePO4 complete batteries (with integrated BMS, balancing, safety circuit and approval!) of the specified nominal voltages and the co-supply of consumers connected to these batteries in permanently installed systems with the specified battery capacities and charging programs. The charging voltage is free of peaks and regulated in such a way that overcharging of the batteries is excluded. Fully discharged battery recovery function Most chargers with reverse voltage protection will not recognize a battery that has been discharged to zero volts or near zero volts, and therefore will not recharge it. However, the Blue Power charger will attempt to recharge a fully discharged battery with low current and will resume normal charging after sufficient voltage has been established across the battery terminals.
