Ultra-high efficiency green battery charger

With up to 95% efficiency, these chargers generate three to four times less heat than the industry standard. And, after the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts, five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Even the lower voltage of the float charge phase, which follows the constant voltage phase, causes grid corrosion. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to reduce the charging voltage even further, even if the battery remains connected to the charger for more than 48 hours.

Charging with temperature equalization

The optimum charging voltage of a lead-acid battery varies inversely with temperature. The Blue Power IP65 charger measures the ambient temperature during the test phase and equalizes the temperature during charging. The temperature is measured again when the charger is in low current mode, charge maintenance voltage phase or storage mode. Therefore, no special settings are needed for a cold or hot environment.

Lithium Ion Battery (LiFePO4)

The Blue Power charger uses a specific charging algorithm for lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries, with an automatic lithium-ion undervoltage protection reset function.

Fully discharged battery recovery function

Most chargers with reverse voltage protection will not recognize a battery that has been discharged to zero volts or near zero volts, and therefore will not recharge it. However, the Blue Power charger will attempt to recharge a fully discharged battery with low current and will resume normal charging after sufficient voltage has been established across the battery terminals.
